Modular clean-energy systems for resilient local infrastructure

Future Cycle Ltd works at the intersection of clean energy, circular economy and modular infrastructure. We develop and coordinate containerised technologies that convert local waste streams into electricity, heat and valuable by-products.

What we do

Developing scalable energy solutions for modern infrastructure

Future Cycle focuses on practical clean-energy technologies designed for real-world deployment. Our work connects engineering, research, project coordination and commercial development to support modular systems that can be installed in decentralised locations.

Our mission

Turning local waste streams into practical energy infrastructure

Our mission is to support resilient decentralised energy systems by transforming underused local resources — including organic waste, agricultural residues and selected waste streams — into usable electricity, heat and valuable secondary products.

We believe that the next generation of infrastructure should be modular, transportable and easier to deploy than traditional large-scale energy assets. This approach is especially relevant for farms, municipalities, industrial sites and communities where energy reliability, waste management and local resource efficiency are critical.

Why Future Cycle

From technology concept to deployable infrastructure

Future Cycle is not limited to a single technology. We act as a project development and coordination platform that helps promising clean-energy systems move from technical concept and prototype development toward field validation, partner engagement and commercial deployment.

Project development

We coordinate multidisciplinary projects involving engineers, researchers, technology developers, implementation partners and external stakeholders.

Modular deployment

We focus on compact, containerised and transportable systems that can be installed faster and adapted to different local infrastructure needs.

Commercial pathway

We support the transition from prototype and pilot validation to market positioning, investor dialogue and future customer deployment.

Technology focus

Two modular energy directions under development

Future Cycle currently coordinates two complementary clean-energy directions: plasma-assisted waste-to-energy and containerised biogas infrastructure. Both are designed around the same core principle: local resources should be converted into local energy value.

Plasma waste-to-energy

Re-Power Ukraine

A compact plasma-assisted gasification system designed to convert mixed waste streams into high-calorific syngas for local electricity and heat generation.

  • Gasification and pyrolysis-based process
  • No conventional waste incineration
  • Transportable container architecture
  • Construction-grade slag by-product

Modular biogas infrastructure

BioSolar Nexus

A containerised anaerobic digestion system for farms and local communities, designed to produce electricity, heat and nutrient-rich digestate fertiliser.

  • Biogas-based CHP generation
  • Cold-climate optimisation
  • Heat recovery and insulated reactor systems
  • Digestate as fertiliser

Deployment logic

Designed for decentralised and resilient use cases

Our technologies are developed for environments where energy generation, waste conversion and local infrastructure resilience need to work together. The containerised format allows systems to be planned, transported and integrated with less complexity than conventional fixed infrastructure.

Farms & agribusiness

Converting manure and organic residues into energy, heat and digestate fertiliser while improving local resource management.

Municipal & local sites

Supporting communities with modular systems for selected waste streams, heat generation and decentralised electricity production.

Industrial operators

Helping businesses explore compact clean-energy infrastructure for waste conversion, operational resilience and circular-economy goals.

Research and innovation partners

Future Cycle collaborates with universities, engineering companies and innovation organisations across the UK, Ukraine and Europe.
